Porto Venere with city and castle tour. The way back over the mountain is not recommended, but rather something for mountain bikers or hikers. Had to struggle quite a bit with my Super Moto X tires 😅🥵 La Spezia lap 🚲😀😎🏖
I wanted to try the Campiglia Monte Castellana connecting trail, uphill; Premise, I consider myself a "beginner", the uphill trail is certainly technical, with roots, steps, exposed stone slabs and large loose stones (in many sections I preferred to get off and push), certainly more manageable downhill (paying attention to the higher steps). I will include it in my tours, to descend from Castellana, but in the future I will avoid the ascent. I also made a mistake, instead of going up along the road that continues to the fort, I went into the path that leads to the hunting posts.....don't do it, it's a jungle!! : ) : ).
