Tour that takes inspiration from the E6 ring (Official hiking trail of the Sibillini Mountains Park). From the Rifugio Città di Amandola I started by taking the CAI 241 path and climbing halfway up the hill until reaching Monte Amandola. From here you find yourself on a large meadow where I meet the first farmhouse, Rifugio Grascette (currently closed but under renovation). I continued on the dirt road towards Casale Ara del Re and then directly reached Casale Ricci by cutting across a grassy slope due to the presence of a herd of cows along the path. From Casale Ricci (2 floors, the lower floor with a fireplace and the upper one with camp beds) I went down taking the CAI 243 and then 226 path (perhaps the section is officially closed by the Park due to the post-earthquake but it is quite popular with hikers. The path is passable without problems but you have to pay attention to falling rocks on the section near Balzo Rosso) until reaching the intersection with the path to go down to the Santuario dell'Ambro. Continuing instead on the CAI 228 path I returned to the Rifugio Città di Amandola to finish this not too long tour.
