Discover the flora and fauna in the floodplains of the rivers Lippe and Ahse.
The “Naturerlebnis-Auenland” loop takes you past attractive floodplain landscapes, through numerous nature and bird sanctuaries, and historic villages.

Through the project of the same name, “Naturerlebnis-Auenland”, from 2009-2012, the landscape around the rivers was renatured. Today it offers habitats for a wide variety of animals and plants. Enjoy nature by bike, at cozy seating areas, in decelerating places of tranquility, or observation huts.

The Auenland cycle path connects the experience points with information boards on an entertaining journey along the Lippe and Ahse rivers.
