On the Enz-Metter tour, you will embark on a short journey through time by bike. The 50-kilometer tour in Mühlacker starts, which you can reach from Pforzheim in a few minutes by train. Right at the beginning you cycle through the Enzgarten with a beautiful view of the Löffelstelz castle.
The charming Enzradweg takes you through the Enzwiesen along the river loops. A special nature reserve awaits you at the Enzschleife: the rock gardens. The colorful vines shine here in autumn and the fruit trees smell in summer. A fantastic route that you can enjoy with all your senses!
You wind your way along the Enz until you come to Vaihingen. In the pretty town with its mighty castle, you can take a short break. You reach the valley of the Metter via a plateau. You follow the babbling brook and mostly drive slightly uphill through dense forests and across wide meadows.
A true gem on your route is Lienzingen. There it is worth leaving the bike path for a short time and cycling into the old village center. The half-timbered houses do not seem to have changed in centuries. From Lienzingen it is only a stone's throw away until you have returned to your starting point in Mühlacker.

We start early. After just a few kilometers, as we ride down the slope towards Lomersheim, the "golden autumn" ends - the sun gives way to the high fog that will accompany us for the rest of the ride.
We ride …
