Today, another tour with the Sundgau Tourist Association, this time focusing on the carp ponds. At the beginning, it was much gentler than the last, but towards the end, the paths became very rocky again. Surprising similarities between place names and pond management are evident in the Franconian region. Pilgrim's Chapel No. 1 offered a stylish pilgrim's toilet. Chapel No. 2 is called Pfifferkapelle (Pfiffer Chapel). It's actually quite obvious. The weather is still just what we wanted. This is a beautiful and, above all, quiet, and somewhat secluded spot. Tonight, we'll try the Carpe Frittes.
