Things to do in June: come and discover the richness of the flora in this mineral universe.
Waited for the rain and around 12 we went. It was a really nice tour where you really should go with proper shoes. There is a lot of loose rubble. Slipping away works👍. And upstairs it was a ... cold
2024 🇨🇵 1️⃣ Provence MV 04_Mont Ventoux 1,912 m, the highest mountain in Provence, I imagined 🙈😎. Instead of the original 14 km (first picture, start at the lift station), it was 8.5 km, but with the snow, wind and fog I shortened the tour 🤔🇨🇵🥾. And it was cold too. Today there was a well-organized mountain race, I read the number 4065 on a runner🏃🏃🏃. They came towards me, I was already 500 m behind the mountain peak. And not to forget the cyclists 🚲🚲, the Tour de France comes here once a year. I've already seen a few people riding up. I now have something to look at 👁️👁️, as the route goes past Bussi 🚐. Because of the wind, I didn't get a chance to have a coffee break. I'll make up for that now. Greetings Thomas 😎🇨🇵🙋
Nice route, but unfortunately it's not moderately difficult. It goes up very steeply in parts, on unpaved paths, the part with the serpentines is sometimes dangerous because it leads very close to the abyss. Only recommended for people who are comfortable on foot. But all in all a nice route.
