Note: I only have one qualifier for today's route: SPECTACULAR. You park at Collados del Asón and you go up a track of approx. 2.5 km to Alto de la Posadía (which is where several routes in the area begin) and there is Poljé de Brenavinto, from there a mountain path to Canal Honda (Canalahonda, very beautiful), we cross the canal and when leaving (collado los Lobos) it offers you a fantastic view of the Picón del Fraile, from which you have to turn left to start the return walk, also between beech forests, stone / earth path until you come out on a dirt path (we crossed by horse trails through the middle of the meadow until we reached the dirt track, but you can go along the dirt track that goes to some nearby cabins, from Brenaromán, and returns) and then without losing direct to the Poljé that was without water so we cross the middle (otherwise we have to deviate along a path to the left that takes you to the outward path) and when we finish crossing the Poljé, a small climb up to the main track that we climbed on. It has no loss, it has been fantastic. Highly recommended. We will do others that I have my eye on in the area 🌹
- Garmin data: 3:42h total time, 560m total difference in altitude. Video: https://www.relive.cc/view/v1OwQY5emXq - NOTE: another good recommendation from @LucíaPolancoArt ! Very pleasant route until you reach Canal Honda, and spectacular when going through the canal! A huge gap in the rocks about a kilometer long and without any problem passing through, highly recommended!
