Easy climb through the Helguera valley to Alto de la Mina, then on to the Hoz. From there there are some easy downhill trails next to the road. That's fun! Whoever built this: Great job!
Discovered a few new trails on the Hoz 😊 Many thanks to the trail builders 👍👏🏻It's a lot of fun!
Nice return through Alto de da Mina to Cerredo and descent to Castro. Unfortunately my chain broke just before the antenna, but luckily I just had to go down...
The route is beautiful: landscapes, scents, eucalyptus trees, and native forest. Much of the trail markings are dirt roads or even double track, and green. You know what I think about green markings: not at all. They're usually easy, but blue would be more appropriate. The climbs are all very manageable; there are no steep inclines except for the polygon, and it's paved. The climb to "la Granja" is very easy and the views are great, we go down a bit, after crossing the road, shortly on the left there is a fountain, we pass another field with views and we continue climbing, the time comes to start going down, we are going for "another" green, hehehehe... well that's another lost path, with lots of mud and crossing small streams, full of vegetation, we are "green" hehehehe... there comes a time when brambles and a crossed tree force us to go up a path and continue along it parallel to the previous path, thus we reach the track that shares its layout with the "green" path!!! If another one, you see, hahaha, .... that's true, this one is clean and very fast, buuuut you have to pay attention to the GPs and even then you'll definitely get lost at some section, because it crosses the track several times, it's loooooong, and very enjoyable, jumps, curves, it's really cool, and it leaves us almost at Castro, we cross the city and along a path shared with pedestrians we reach the last "GREEN" (no joke, which makes me think, what the Reds will be like, and now the blacks, uffff...) A tough climb up a slope, skirting the pedestrian walkway, then a narrow stretch of line in the meadow to reach Dício beach, overall the route was worth it. Circular route from Mioño, passing through: - Los Cryrones Park (0.6 km) - Cueva Naso (6.6 km) - San Juan Chapel (9.1 km) - Alto de La Granja (14.4 km) - Ilso Grande Menhir (21.7 km)
