The terrain is a mix of paved roads, paths, and footpaths. You'll walk through residential areas, so be mindful of occasional traffic, especially during peak season. The coastal sections are generally flat but can be rocky in places, offering fine white sand beaches at the coves.

Yes, the trail is generally dog-friendly. However, please keep your dog on a leash, especially in residential areas and near beaches, and always clean up after your pet to maintain the cleanliness of the area for everyone.
The best time to hike is during the spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) when the weather is pleasantly mild and the crowds are smaller. Summer can be very hot, so if hiking then, start early in the morning to avoid the midday heat.

Yes, parts of this route are integrated into the larger Camí de Cavalls, Menorca's historic coastal path. You will also find sections that follow local paths like Carrer 57 Binibeca Vell and Carrer de sa Platja.
We used the last day of our vacation to go for a swim in a pretty bay. But first we walked along Cami de Cavalls No. 18 to the pretty apartment town of Binibequer Vell. This small white tourist magnet must be very crowded in summer. We didn't stay long, walked a few more steps and returned to the car. On the way there we saw the small bay of Binidali. We returned there and enjoyed a last swim in the turquoise blue sea.
Today the sea was a bit choppy. A force 5 wind from the sea pushed the waves against the rocks. It was wonderful to smell and breathe this moist air. It also made the 27 degrees bearable. The Cami de Cavalls largely follows the shore road on this stretch. I tried out a few footpaths to get a bit closer to the sea.
