The tour leads first through the blooming table mountain heather and then on through the idyllic town of Blaricum with its many beautiful thatched roof houses. With a reasonable expectation that it would stay dry for a few hours, I took the plunge and did a tour around the Gooimeer. And it stayed dry.
After the Holland bridge, first via the Kromslootpark near Almere Haven and then along the dike to the Stichtse Brug. Back dry via the Blaricum lock along the beach of Huizen.
