Start at the free parking lot in Hartenstein, near Burg Stein. First through the park of Schloss Wolfsbrunn and then through the forest steeply uphill to the junction "Raubrittersteig (dangerous slope path)". Follow this to the ruins of Isenburg. Continue into the town center of Wildbach. I am always amazed by this sight. Now follow the Kirchweg for a while …

A beautiful autumn hike on many natural paths - be careful: here and there it can get muddy on the Raubrittersteig. Small streams have to be crossed. But that makes it exciting in addition to the sometimes narrow path along the slope. Definitely a nice adventure for children too.
