Brunnenstube Süßenborn

The Süßenborn village well is a unique structure and monument. No comparable object has been found in Thuringia to date. The well consists of a vaulted basin chamber made of natural stone. The north-south barrel vault is 5.60 m long. From the west, a second, smaller barrel adjoins the main barrel, which, according to tradition, served as access to the chamber.
