Today we went on a little exploration tour in the Wahner Heide. We roamed the heath with our new camera in a very relaxed manner with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. For us it was more of a walk than a hike, but you can still "treat yourself" to that now and then.

On Saturday we went on another little walk through the Wahner Heide. Lots of skippers, the first checkered damselflies and the first blue-green darners were out and about.

We also saw some birds like red-backed shrikes, stonechats, a reed bunting, yellowhammers and a red kite.
