Försterblick (HWN 183)

Highlight • Viewpoint

The view is great. The descent is quite challenging. You should definitely go with sure-footed shoes. The lower part of the descent requires special attention. You have to pay attention to every step. Nevertheless, the experience is very nice.

Very impressive the well-preserved Grenzgraben with both sides received and numbered landmarks. Like the border guards, Anhaltiners and Prussians face each other. The last border revision was not until 1912.

From Bad Suderode via the Prussian Tower and the old border road between Prussia and Anhalt.
The way is great to commit. The stones are a pleasure for the eyes

Circular hike from Bad Suderode with 5 stamp points. At the beginning and at the end there are very beautiful paths, but unfortunately there are longer, wide paths in between and even 2-3km on an asphalt road (designated Harz Club path!). The view from the Försterblick and the Prussian Tower is particularly beautiful.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to fix my Komoot problem yet. I'm in contact with support and hope for a solution.
Today I went stamp hunting again. I parked at the Felsenkeller. The fish pond at the beginning was impressive with its beautiful nature and autumn colors. The path took me a …

Hey friends, wow, that was a ride, but I've racked up a decent number of stamps. A total of over 20 km in plenty of sunshine. At the end, my feet hurt so much that Harzdame had to endure a few curses. Tomorrow, I'll take the Selketalbahn to the next stamp station.
See you later😏

After visiting the Roseburg ( komoot.de/tour/936899029?ref=wtd ) I started today's tour from the "Zum Felsenkeller" inn in Bad Suderode. After a short ascent to the "Anhaltisches Salstein", a nice round without significant climbs with many great views and rest stops. Only the descent from the Försterblick has it all. Without hiking poles and sturdy shoes I strongly advise against!! A …

Nice path, but extremely steep descent after the Försterblick. You should be very sure of that.

The spa park of Bad Suderode at the beginning is beautiful, even if it is unfortunately no longer maintained. But it also has something magical about it... The rest of the route is scenically very beautiful and does not pose a great challenge. However, if you (like us) continue straight ahead at the Försterblick, you will come to a fairly …

This round starts at the Cyriakus Church. Here you can collect the first stamp for the Harz monastery hiking trail.

My next destination was the Prussian Tower (HWN 185) from the tower you have a great view. Today I could see as far as Quedlinburg.

For today's route, we started from the parking lot of the Felsenkeller Bad Suderode inn.

Fully motivated, our first destination was the Anhaltinischer Salstein. After a short break, we continued via the Spinne, Neuer Teich to the Bärdenkmal (Bear Monument) and Bremer Teich.
