The Rainbow Falls Trailhead is not only the starting point for the short round trip hike to Rainbow Falls, but also for some long hikes into the backcountry. At the trailhead there is a parking lot for about 15 cars, an outhouse and some information boards.

Rainbow Falls is a rushing small waterfall that you can reach via a short hike with some minor elevation gain. If you want to stretch your legs a bit, why not take the loop hike right away? It will give you some beautiful views.

Rainbow Lake Trail & Rainbow Falls Loop Junction

Highlight • Trail

At this junction, you decide whether to take the short round trip to Rainbow Falls, which takes about an hour, or to venture into the backcountry for a longer adventure. The Rainbow Lake Trail takes you deep into the backcountry and, as you might expect, right to Rainbow Lake and also Hanging Lake, where you can pitch your tent.
