Siebenhütten Alpine Hut

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The name Siebenhütten comes from times when the seven alpine huts were actually operated by seven farmers from Kreuth / Pförn. Only three huts remain, two of which are used as storage and one as a rustic snack station.

Very nice, but long and strenuous tour through the large Wolfsschlucht, over the Blauberge, Blauberg Schneid to the Halserspitz 😎🌞

It starts off leisurely on the Weißach - flat, wide gravel path or you can choose the narrow, rooted path next to the stream ... Soon you will have to turn left with the Hofbauernweissach stream flowing into the Weißach - in the direction of Siebenhütten. Maybe it's still too early for a rest with catering - but for families …

SUPER DAY 🥰👍✌️

Showing Translation

No snow😃, bright sunshine☀️ instead of fog😶‍🌫️....a perfect day to finally cross the Blauberge🤗.
A fantastic tour, only the upper part of the descent from the Halserspitze (warning signs above and below) was a bit slippery in places...this part is simply completely in the shade at this time of year.

Showing Translation

We set off from the Siebenhütten car park (€6 per day) in Kreuth under cloudless skies.
The ascent followed via the large Wolfsschlucht and was actually smooth.
Surefootedness, a head for heights and mountain experience are necessary for the entire route.
The summit crossing also offers great views and is not particularly strenuous apart from a couple of exposed areas. …

Showing Translation

The crossing of the Blauberge is a super beautiful but conditionally somewhat more demanding round tour over several peaks of the Tegernsee mountains.
The ascent to the first and most prominent summit, the Halserspitz, is a bit exposed in the upper part and requires a little scrambling. Most hikers climb via the Wolfsschlucht, so we were pretty lonely today until …
