This is a beautiful tour, but one that also pushes the limits. The climb to Petellin is a steep trail. Difficult, but doable, and once you've completed it, you'll be full of happy hormones. Overall, a fantastic, challenging, and also empty tour.

Starting point is behind a supermarket. There are also free parking spaces. Most of the hike leads through the woods and is therefore pleasantly shady even on hot summer days. The ascent to the Petelin is quite "tidy" (steep). At the end of the circuit there is the possibility to stop at the Taborhöhe.

We low mountain hobby hikers had imagined it to be more relaxed: in the sweltering heat and constant change from steep uphill and downhill over often narrow root paths, we reached our limits. It was nice anyway 🙂
