September 7, 2023,Bahnhof Cranzahl – Trinkwassertalsperre Cranzahl Runde von Cranzahl
From Cranzahl train station we walk towards the small railway track and cross it at the station entrance to get to the road that leads to the dam. February 13, 2023,Endlich wieder Sonne 🌞
After these cloudy days, the sun had to be ☀️. That was a compromise - between the desired sun and the still existing snow on the mountain ⛰️. I had imagined the paths to be muddy and didn't expect so much snow ❄️. Despite everything: the Bärenstein is always beautiful.

They still exist, the "must do" rounds and the Bärenstein ascent with dam were among them. And the Erzgebirge as always - never disappoints ❤️

Very nice round in the Erzgebirge with lots of great views and lots of variety🍺👍🥾

Very nice round in the Ore Mountains with great views.

According to tradition, the annual small group hike in search of snow and Christmas spirit took place today. Despite the plus temperatures, we at least found a little bit of white gold between Bärenstein and the Cranzahl dam. The sun was shining, decorated trees adorned the path and the campfire was roasting the obligatory bratwurst... Mission successful! 🎄🔥❤️
