The stroller-friendly hiking trail is easy to walk. A highlight for families with children, as the Motzabach stream runs along the entire length of the trail. Children can play in it or float boats.

Geological Organs (Nagelfluh rock formations)

Highlight • Natural Monument

Geological organs are vertical cavities formed by the weathering of soft, fine-grained material. This happened during the Günz glaciation around 600,000 years ago. An information board tells you more about the natural phenomenon.

Unfortunately, the tour to the geological organs is closed. We climbed over the barriers but I saw us in the newspaper. Tourists fell. 🫣

You can be outside even when it's raining...
The route is a lovely up and down around Ottobeuren, with varying path conditions.
Unfortunately, no view today due to the weather. It was still very nice.
And the end with cream puffs was very tasty 😋.

I don't usually travel in the area, but now KISS made me aware of it. And since I have visitors from the north, it made sense. This levada path is really nicely laid out.

The Kneipp hiking trail is highly recommended, as is the Kneipp Active Park.
But all that is nothing more when you stand in the beautiful and unique magnificent basilica of …
