If nothing works, the maiden pond is always open. A decelerating circular route around the beautiful, quiet and mysterious daliegende waters. The little Maria Laach and yet a lot nicer, for my ideas at least

December 13, 2023,🥾🥾 In die Nacht auf der Ulmener Acht
Well, not quite night. I left at 4:30 p.m. to get past the slippery castle slope while it was still fairly light. The rest isn't a big problem with zappenduster either. The sounds of the birds at the Jungfernweiher are fascinating. But I think they would be even more interesting in the morning at sunrise

Unfortunately our last tour for this vacation. We started at the hiking car park "ulmener Maar". After a few minutes you reach the first vantage point over the Maar. We are once completely around the Maar. There are enough seating options to let your eyes wander over the Maar. We are then still to Jungfernweiher. Again and again there are …

After checking into the campsite at Jungfernweiher, I admired the maars in my summer outfit with sandals, a skirt, and a top without any luggage, especially a walk through the cool Ulmener Maar tunnel, which has only been open to the general public for …

Our first loop today took us around the Ulmener Maar and the Jungfernweiher pond. A very nice little loop. The Ulmener Tunnel or gallery is very interesting and very well-maintained. I hope it stays as clean as it is now. Since the weather was surprisingly nice, we went for a second loop afterward.

Actually planned a rest day today, but with this weather 🌞 at least a nice walk🙋‍♂️.

small tour around the Ulmener Maar, with a tunnel to the Jungferweiher, all on easy paths👍

My car is sick 🤒😷 and is temporarily staying in the workshop 🧰🪛🔧⚙️, so I took the bus to Ulmen and drove around the Jungferweiher and the maar. That always works 👍
