The Ishøj route connects Vestegnen with the centre of Copenhagen and runs largely along a well-developed main road. Along the way, you’ll pass industrial estates such as Avedøre Holme, but you’ll also come across green highlights such as Køge Bugt Strandpark, Vestvolden and Valbyparken. Particularly handy: the route is close to several S-train stations and, with a detour to the ARKEN Museum of Modern Art, offers an exciting cultural destination right along the route.

Epic Avedøre cyclepath! It is just so beautiful that even though some small parts you have to slow down because they are shared with pedestrians, it is just worth it.
The rest of the way to Køge is nice, often along the sea, and especially on the way back, you don't have a lot of side roads to cross, so …
