Cambuskenneth Abbey Bell Tower

Highlight • Monument

Only the bell tower of the old abbey, which was built in 1140, survives. Robert the Bruce used it as the Houses of Parliament. In 1326 he confirmed his son's succession to the throne here.

February 16, 2025,🚴‍♂️🌥️ Clacks Crossing - Cowie and Stirling
First time back out on the bike this year. Nice warm up around Stirling and the Clacks Crossing. Thanks @Colin Black for lunch and some gentle prodding to get the bike out the garage!
Couple of bits of off road and new sections and popped by the Bluepool, still blue :-)
