Bridge over the Walchsee outflow

Highlight • Bridge

The water flows from the lake via the approximately 500-meter-long Walchseebach stream on the eastern side into the Weißenbach stream. This stream, in turn, flows via the Kohlenbach stream into the Großache stream, which empties into Lake Chiemsee near Grabenstätt.

Schwemm Moor Nature Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Beautiful path through the wet biotope with moor vegetation. Partly the path runs at sea level, so expect a few puddles.

Wonderful panorama, but you share a good 50% of the way with cars and there isn't really any shade... But we managed the circumnavigation at 28 degrees with the dog😅

Showing Translation

You can walk around the lake even in bad weather

@📷🚲 Hagi 🥾 🏍 Christoph, also koa today 🌞 Happy at Walchsee.

Unfortunately, in the last two years it was not possible to do my "compulsory tour" around the Walchsee. Today it was possible again. Nothing has changed much, the mountains and the lake have remained the same. There are also cyclists and hikers around the lake.

And the parking fees have remained the same (!), 3 € for a day ticket.
