In 1895, a new, direct outlet of the Vistula into the sea was created here to prevent floods in the delta. Today, the breakthrough looks like a natural coastal river: wide, powerful, and constantly in motion. Along the path, you can feel the vastness of the estuary, seagulls circle over the water, and the Baltic Sea already opens up on the horizon. A quiet, yet historically significant section of any tour around Sobieszewo.
