Loisach Bridge, Eschenlohe

Highlight • Bridge

Elegant mix of traditional and modern: from the water, the new bridge appears like an old, covered wooden bridge. But actually only the two pedestrian paths at the edge of the bridge are covered. In between there is a narrow lane for cars.

Apart from that, you have a wonderful view over the rushing Loisach and especially of the mountains.

View of the Zugspitze from the Murnauer Moos

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

Pure nature: In front of you is a picturesque, natural moor that is surrounded on all sides by mountains. Of course, the Zugspitze with its gray, gigantic cliffs rises particularly strikingly in the south.

Seven Springs Pond

Highlight (Segment) • Natural Monument

The karst springs of the seven springs have been awarded as a particularly valuable geotope.
The source pond of the Seven Springs is located south of Eschenlohe in the Loisach Valley on the north-eastern edge of the Pfrühlmoos, a chain of moors. There are several strong spring surges in the spring pond, which can pour a total of over 1000 l/s. The sulphate content of the water indicates contact with Raibler strata containing gypsum. The sulfur bacteria indicate biological sulphate degradation, see the bright edges around the springs in the spring pond in the pictures. Based on Wikipedia

November 10, 2024,Pfühlmoos zwischen Eschenlohe & Oberau im Morgennebel
The steep walls of the Ester Mountains rise up mightily above the Pfrühlmoos between Eschenlohe and Oberau. The summit of the Laber, the Ettaler Mandl, Kramerspitze and later the view of the Alpspitze and the highest point of the Wetterstein Mountains, the Zugspitze, accompany the path.

I'm curious when the GPS will be correct again. I didn't even know that we did a mountain tour 😂. It was about 60 hm.
After the weather didn't look so good today, we spontaneously decided on Eschenlohe and the seven springs.
Scenic simply bomb, the pictures speak for themselves.

It was today in the truest sense of the word, a shielded round 🌨🌂 from the beginning to about 3 km before the end.
From Eschenlohe around the beautiful Pfrühlmoos, also at 🌧, at Oberau over the bridge and back at the Loisach. All paths were easily accessible.
It was wrong to go over the bridge, but before Oberau the …
