Jungholz's local mountain. Jungholz is connected to the Tannheimer Valley and Austria precisely via the summit cross.

In Jungholz at the top (until you are no longer allowed to drive) there is a free parking lot. From there you walk on a tarred path to Stubentalalpe. Very rustic Alpe with various events. If you still want, you can then walk the approx. 3.6 km long super beautiful mountain trail from Jungholz. (everything also tarred)

Alpe Obere Reuterwanne

Highlight • Mountain Hut

The Alpe Upper Reuterwanne is not managed, however, there is a wooden chest, in which there are drinks and thirsty hikers can use. For payment, a small cashier is ready.

⛰ Beautiful circular hike

🥾 short, easy hike, great for an after-work walk. No special technique required.

🏃🏼‍♀️ we walked anti-clockwise because that way we could walk up the tarred path to Alpe Stubental and walk down the trail/forest path. But you've also walked the other way around and it's beautiful that way too!

🚗 Parking: Bergbahnen Jungholz

Unfortunately, the description of the path was not correct. Most of the trail is asphalt/tar. Certainly better in winter than in summer.

Motto today: When day in Jungholz🛀🤭. It started from the free 🅿️ just before Jungholz at the Felsenbad (large 🛁). It was relatively steep and steady ⬆️ past the Alpe Untere Reuterwanne and on to the Alpe Obere Reuterwanne (short break with cyclists🍻 Fig. 3) and always with a view of the summit of the Reuterwanne⛰️. Then around the Pfeifferberg …

November 11, 2023,Reuter Wanne
Today we went from Jungholz in Tyrol to the Reuter Wanne. Due to its location, the mountain offers a great panorama despite its relatively low altitude. Even though it didn't look like it in the morning, it turned out to be an interesting mountain day. Only the sometimes very fresh wind dampened the joy a little. Despite everything, a nice …

The next tour with the company group. Planned as a snowshoe tour, but now the first spring tour. A few bits of old snow, partly slippery but doable. Great weather, beautiful views. The Alpe Stubental is worth it, and is not an insider tip.

Today was our final hike and we went to the border area to Austria to be more precise to Jungholz in a very quiet village with 3 souls. Below the lift we went up to the Reuterwanne at 1590 mtr. with a 360 degree view over the Tyrolean Alps. First with a view of the Grüntner See. It was a …
