Hattgenstein Observation Tower

Highlight • Viewpoint

The tower near Hattgenstein offers probably the best view in the area. It is located on the Rothenburgberg, which at around 600 meters already offers a great view. With a small detour to the 20-meter-high viewing platform, you can expand the all-round view of the charming landscape. Incidentally, the tower was built from 100-year-old Douglas firs from the Birkenfelder Schönenwald. In the restaurant opposite you can strengthen yourself after climbing the tower.

You can find more information about the tower here:

BOAH .... Wat am I proud of myself 😀
Almost a year ago I walked the route more than I drove 😂
Today, 90% of it went pretty well.
That doesn't mean that I don't continue to find them demanding and exhausting😁👌🏽
In any case, we're both flat afterwards 😋

If you really want to unplug, the Biobike on the Waldmeister Trail is the right choice in this heat 😉

With the EMTB, the Waldmeister Trail puts you in a good mood 😎. Even with my old Scott hardtail. I had to give poor Scotty the spurs so we could be back before dark 😉.

Hi. Well signposted, good physical condition is required for those with a low mileage; those with a low mileage can ride well. Thanks.

Really cool course, almost only trail. Lots of roots and stones, even on the uphill. So slow and incredibly exhausting. But it was worth it.

Demanding tour, you should not be fooled by the altitude and the length, it has it all.

First the woodruff round and then play a little 👍😉: Slalom, skill course, flow and jump line and the new line towards Sauerbrunnen.
In a few places, really well-built berms have emerged 👍. That's fun 😄.

I've wanted to do the Rise to the Woodruff Trail for a long time. It worked really well. The battery would have for another round. I'll have to try that out soon.
