June 4, 2023,Wasgau Seen Tour
Our beautiful tour begins at the Birkenfeld amusement park.
The tour leads through fairytale forests and romantic paths past several small lakes, which are ideal places for a rest in untouched nature.
What an idyllic rest & beautiful views we were allowed to enjoy.

The tour focuses on the element of water. Unfortunately too literally... we spent half the time in the rain. 🌧️

Highlights are actually the beautiful lakes, some with beautiful water lilies, the climb to the Lindelskopf rock massif and the view, as well as the barefoot path that I treated my feet to immediately afterwards.

Short break day 4:
After a delicious breakfast à la Herbert, I said goodbye to @Nette 🇺🇦 and @Deejay and headed towards the Dahner Felsenland.
Since my legs were a little sore from the previous day's elevation gain, I opted for a more relaxed route.
In the Dahner Felsenland, there is an astonishing variety of water around the communities of …

The thenen focus of the tour is apt, it leads along many ponds. It has only a few meters in altitude and is therefore easy to manage. The tour description gave us the impression that there were a number of places to stop for refreshments, but that was a mistake, so we had to redirect the tour through Fischbach, where …

I've always wanted to walk the premium hiking trail "Wasgau Lakes Tour" because I've come across its hiking markings on numerous tours (including my Ritterstein hikes) in and around Ludwigswinkel and Fischbach.

Today was the day: the weather wasn't too hot and mostly cloudy: ideal conditions for a longer tour.

Today the rocks 🪨 are taking a break and for the first time we don't start at the apartment but try to do that 🚙. We start today in the center of Ludwigswinkel. On the barefoot path 🦶 we meet water for the first time 💦 today, it shouldn't be the last time. The path is lovingly laid out 🫶 …

Girls Monday...Tanja and Steffi are otherwise busy, but my husband was kind enough to accompany me😁
We parked in Fischbach near Dahn at the Biosphere House and went on the Wasgau Lake Tour. It was fantastically beautiful, this weather... so many lakes, ponds and streams, great forest paths and everything was wonderful to run. I can only recommend this round …

Today we went to Fischbach with Marianne, where we started our Wasgau Lake Tour, because it was an absolute MUST to experience the water lily bloom before my vacation. And especially on the Pfälzerwoog, my expectations were far exceeded 😊
So we started at the biosphere house and hiked through the picturesque nature reserve towards our first stage destination - …
