Cima Fertazza Summit

Highlight • Summit

The cross of Mount Fertazza is located on a promontory that reaches 2101 meters above sea level. From here there is a spectacular 360-degree view: the Alleghe lake, the imposing Civetta mountain, the Marmolada - the highest peak of the Dolomites -, Pelmo mountain, Punta Sorapiss, the Fiorentina valley... The sensation is indescribable.

The Fertazza Deer is a scenic wooden sculpture set on a natural balcony just below Cima Fertazza (2,101 m) in the Belluno Dolomites. It offers a breathtaking 360° view of Civetta, Pelmo, Marmolada, and the surrounding valleys.

It is easily reached in a few steps from the top station of the second section of the chairlifts that run from Pescul to Mount Fertazza, next to the Belvedere restaurant. The route is also suitable for families with children.

Alternatively, you can get there on foot from:
• Pescul: approximately 2.5 hours' climb (700 m elevation gain);
• Staulanza Pass: approximately 1.5 hours' climb (450 m elevation gain).
