Now @Martin and I hiked around Lake Raßnitzer See together. A great after-work tour with peanuts, oranges and lemon water. Afterwards, as always, there was a fast food fortification. Now all the calories you burned are back! ;-)

This was my third lake for the Iron Lake Challenge in Saxony-Anhalt.
Lake Raßnitzer is a remnant of the Merseburg-Ost lignite opencast mine and is located in the municipality of Schkopau.

After the mine was closed in 1991, this remnant was flooded with the waters of the White Elster River, which flows north of the lake.
