My starting and finishing point was the swimming area at Doberstorfer See. After the first 4 km or so of road, you finally turn onto a farm track and get your first glimpse of Lake Passad.

But there's still plenty of asphalt beneath your feet 👣.

The first lake we visited today was Lake Passau. It was truly beautiful, and we walked along the lake for a very long time. We were rewarded with lots of sunshine ☀️, lots of poppies, and warm weather. I think the lake is worth a visit any time of year.😊

A beautiful lakeside tour with charming towns, self-service lockers at the farms (it was perfect for me today to shelter and wait out the rain showers 😁), and a stop at the Passader Backhaus bakery at the end... delicious coffee and pastries. The L50 Passade bus stop is perfect for starting the tour.
