A 30km hike in the Harz Mountains. Now, the Harz Mountains aren't in Brandenburg, but they are a bit hilly. But contrary to expectations, it went very well. The weather was very good at first and a bit mixed later on. But that didn't bother us too much. The route was excellent, and the atmosphere was great.

Today I went back to Thale.

We had been given a strong warning that there were still markings on the route and that we would have to expect consequences if they weren't removed promptly.....
The warning was completely justified, as our two external final runners missed a few.

The route was fantastic and a lot of fun 🥾👍🏻. You (or she 😝) had to stop every now and then so you didn't forget to enjoy the amazing views 👀. 😌
The refreshment station was also top-notch again 👍🏻.

Today I took part in EMTI - Extreme Hiking for the fifth time. It was a great trip, and I met some great people.
In Blankenburg, I received my gold hiking pin and hiking princess badge 🤗
Finally, I picked up my Harz milestone patch for 150km. 😎🥾💪🏻

However, the route was very beautiful. We passed the Teufelsmauer and Roßtrappe. The paths weren't all that great. Often they were very narrow, resulting in frequent traffic jams. They were …

Day 3 in the Harz Mountains, warm-up over, and we set off on a 30km circular route from Thale with E.M.T.I. First, we walked along a stretch of road before entering the forest for the first time. Today, we had many forest trails, from wide, easy-to-walk forest and woodland paths to narrow, root-strewn single trails. Stone obstacles were also a …
