Anyone traveling in the area should, for example, search for a broom calendar on Google in order to be able to find suitable rest areas for a proper supply of Maultaschen and Vierteles-TL.

View of Lake Breitenauer

Highlight • Lake

The lake is a great running area: lots of sun, lots of air and beautiful paths. About two-thirds of the pavement is paved, the rest is gravel. One lap along the shore is about four kilometers.

A beautiful tour on good bike paths. Lovely villages and plenty of nature. Well signposted. However, there are also busy roads to cross.

I started at Weinsberg train station (barrier-free).

With wonderful weather and almost summer temperatures, it was another great tour that Klaus prepared wonderfully. 🤩

Not an everyday route to the Breitenauer See, but recommended.

Is that wonderful
Harvest time: apples, pears, grapes 🍇🍐🍎...
The trees are slowly becoming colourful...
The fresh air and exercise is good.

After breakfast to the Breitenauer Lake and back home for breakfast

A short detour to the handball players' forest festival at Schweinshag, a quick visit to the grandchildren in Binswangen and then on to Breitenauer Lake. The frost damage in the vineyards and walnut trees is striking. Let's see what happens
