Camiño do Inferniño 😈 to Santiago

Highlight • Trail

The Camiño to Santiago de Compostela comes down this almost vertical narrow 'road to hell', even too steep to push a bike up. If going east you better take the slightly less steep road heading straight.

Playa Grande de Miño

Highlight • Beach

The large beach of Miño is an extensive tongue of sand that forms the largest beach in this town in the Betanzos estuary. Bathers and passers-by can enjoy a privileged natural environment with white sand and blue waters.

Nice alternative to main road, in particular for those discovering through the way of Santiago de Compostela.

Pontedeume

Highlight • Settlement

The Santiago church is a historic stop along the old pilgrimage route, since the town got its name from the strategic long bridge across the Eume estuary, an engineering marvel at the time

Not recommended on weekends, streets full of cars and the beaches completely overcrowded. No parking. Far and wide. Especially the way back is scenically unattractive only sun and hardly any shade.
