A tour to Hohenstein and the Teufelskanzel is a must when I'm in the area. And it's different every time and always impressive. This time I went over the Blutbachquelle, a really nice, quiet place in the middle of a beautiful beech forest. The route I had originally planned, namely from there along the Blutbach, was too dangerous for me, …

A dream 🤩, pure enjoyment 🤩 ‼
There is no need for me to comment on the route; everything has already been said countless times. @Suki recently walked on this, thanks for the inspiration!

Spectacularly beautiful tour of the Süntel with the neighbors in Lower Saxony. Here you can simply immerse yourself in the forest. This time there were also Süntelbuchen to see - their idiosyncratic, twisted growth makes these red beech trees very special. This time I also walked the cliff path below the Green Altar and Hohenstein for the first time. I …

At the end of the weekend we decided to go on a hike to Hohenstein today😀.

A pleasant tour with little elevation gain, great views, lots of wild garlic and a few pretty Märzenbecher.

The paths were dry and easy to walk (except for a short stretch towards the Blutbachquelle)😀.

For the 100th anniversary, LOWA organized hikes in various regions.

I had already registered for the hike in the Weserbergland at the beginning of the year. After I suppressed that briefly, there was a reminder e-mail.

So it started today, start and finish was the parking lot at the Schillat caves.

The small ridge in the Weserbergland "Süntel" comes along with 400 Hm completely calm and has so much to offer. Everything blooms wherever you look... colourful🌸🌼😍. It smells, it blooms and there is twittering. Great views and picnic rocks, stories of bewitched trees - the crippled Süntelbuchen and beautiful paths through the still sparse beech forest - it was completely …

Back to Hohenstein. 😳 It was exactly the right decision in these temperatures. 👍 Walked almost the entire route through the forest. 😎 It was very beautiful again. 🤗😎👍
