Peller Estates Winery

Highlight • Structure

This area is the prime location for grape and wine production in Ontario.
There are countless wineries along the way that you can visit for production tour and wine tasting.
One of the highlights of the area is Ice Wine. Sweet, strong wine that is made from the grapes that are left to dry and freeze on plant and collected mid January for fermentation. Beautiful!
Be careful with tasting if you are not staying overnight in the area. Roads are busy, specially on weekends.
Enjoy and respect.

Highlight • Historical Site

After climbing the only serious hill on the route you will arrive at the Queenston Height. It is memorial place to the battlefield of War of 1812 and general Brock. View of the surrounding area is amazing. Park offers many picnic tables and washrooms facilities. Restaurant on the site was closed (Covid) at this time but it's there from 1908 and could work when you visit.
