One of the most fascinating places in the whole of Veneto for history and literature, Villa Buzzati is the birthplace of Dino Buzzati, one of the most important and famous Italian writers of the twentieth century. Among his masterpieces "The desert of the Tartars" and his writings as a correspondent of the "Corriere della Sera" at the 1949 Giro d'Italia, later collected in the posthumous book "Dino Buzzati at the Giro d'Italia". The Villa is now the seat of the "Cultural Association Villa Buzzati S. Pellegrino - Il Granaio", which manages guided tours and organizes other activities mostly related to the Belluno novelist.
