Church of Madonna delle Grazie

Highlight • Religious Site

Beautiful church between Baroque and Neoclassical, with a facade and sides in exposed brick (I suspect it was originally fully plastered). It is located in a very panoramic position, truly postcard-worthy. Useful are the two nearby picnic areas - one right opposite the church, with barbecue and fountain, but without shade; and one just downstream, with only two tables with benches, but shaded and cool. A nice spot for a break, a beautiful destination for a trip.

Church of St. Mark (Lemma)

Highlight • Religious Site

Lemma is a small hamlet of Rossana. In the main square it is not difficult to recognize the church dedicated to San Marco, which stands next to the old elementary school.

Lemma Village

Highlight • Settlement

A hamlet of the municipality of Rossana, Lemma is located on the border between the Varaita and Maira valleys and is one of the Italian valleys where Occitan is spoken. Numerous books published in recent decades recall how Lemma was one of the centers most involved in the Resistance.

Placed in May 2016 to greet the passage of the Giro d'Italia and pay homage to the "Pirate" Pantani, this plaque is an initiative promoted by the municipality of Busca with Costigliole Saluzzo and Rossana and with the support of the passionate Mario Berardo. Created by the Verzuolo craftsman Massimo Mondino, the work is a destination for tourists and enthusiasts.

From the bridge over the Varaita stream, just outside the centre of Costigliole Saluzzo, you can enjoy an excellent view of the village perched on the hill and the stream itself.

Historic center of Saluzzo

Saluzzo is a medieval village in the Piedmont region located at the foot of Monviso. In addition to the characteristic historic center, the village is full of restaurants where you can taste the typical recipes of the local cuisine, famous for the "Slow Food" movement.

Colletta of Brondello

Highlight • Mountain Pass

Nice climb, last 8 m on a false level, but the previous 4 km between 6 and 10%.

Colletta di Isasca (Isasca side)

Highlight (Segment) • Mountain Pass

The collection on the Isasca side has rather gentle slopes and long straights, the advice is to do it downhill and go up from Brondello, much more fun.
Recently the asflato, especially near the town of Isasca where it was very damaged, has been redone.
