During the liberation by the army in 1945, a German tank got lost in the central square in Leśnica, as a result of the fight, 3 Soviet soldiers were killed, in retaliation, persecutions and searches were carried out, while going towards Raszowa, they encountered children from a care and treatment center who were to some extent disabled and saluted the Nazi salute (as they were taught when seeing soldiers). This enraged the Soldiers to such an extent that they killed the children and 2 guardians on the spot
