It's great that the distance of the planets was transferred to the distances on the bike path. Just drive away and you'll understand.

View of the Jungfernsprung (Dahn)

Highlight • Natural Monument

The tour has some inclines. Especially the one from Schönau to Fleckenstein Castle has it all. For this you will be rewarded with a great view. The bow system can also be viewed. But it is chargeable. From Nothweiler it goes downhill back to Dahn.

July 5, 2021,Hauenstein - Hinterweidenthal - Dahn (und zurück)
Incidentally, the height differences that the track shows are wrong. 400m? GPS is simply too imprecise.

There are maybe three notable climbs of 100m length on the tour, the rest is flat with light waves.

A great cycle path from the old Dahn-Reichenbach train station to Hinterweidental along the Wieslauter. Everything is very well signposted. We continued to Hauenstein.

Showing Translation

Wonderful tour, exhausting and with a stop at the Paddelweiherhütte in Hauenstein.

That should have been it 🚲💚

Note: This tour is recommended for e-bikes.

It was actually supposed to continue from Hauenstein via Lug, Schwanheim, Darstein, Oberschlettenbach, Busenberg and Reichenbach. Then back from Hauenstein because of the companion's severe pain.

Showing Translation

Finally, another round to the Altdahn castle massif...which was unfortunately closed🤷‍♀️ but you could climb the Neudahn castle ruins 😅🚶‍♀️ Afterwards, the trip continued to Hauenstein to the shoe mile👟🥿👡 where we unfortunately couldn't find anything 😅😅
