Former Allersberg Railway Station

Highlight • Monument

The highlight should actually be: "Former station building". Because there has been no train here for almost 50 years. The Allersberg "Bockl", as it was affectionately known, once puffed here for more than 70 years, namely from 1902 to 1973. Today, only the former station building, which after the successful renovation houses the community library, stands on the former railway site. Otherwise there is nothing left to see from the station square and the rail system. The market town acquired the area in 1978 and converted it into a new fairground. Since 1984, the church consecration has been celebrated every year around the old station building.
