Above Feldthurns, on an open hilltop, lies St. Georg in Schnauders, a beautiful, small, later Gothic building, first documented in the 14th century. This church received its current form partly in the 16th and partly in the 19th century. Renovated inside and outside in 2007. (Key can be picked up at Haus Sigmund).

Garn village

Garn has around 200 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of 1,177 m above sea level, i.e. higher than the main town of Feldthurn, above the entrance to the Tinnetal. The most outstanding building near the village is Garnstein Castle, which dates back to the 12th century and served to protect the former Pfunderer mine. The church in Garn is dedicated to Saint Andrew.

Today we went from Feldthurns along forest paths to the Klausner Hut. The route is suitable for all mountain bikes. The highlight of the tour is the Klausner Hut.
