Never tell me how nice it was there, hey presto you're up there again. 🙈

Just hiked and biked up to the #Pfitscherjoch house (see link)

.
.
Today we were up there together at the oldest private #shelter in #South Tyrol since 1888.

The path is not too steep and offers great views. The short break at the Lavitzalm was particularly nice. The friendly dairymaid served delicious homemade buttermilk.

Today to the Pfitscherjoch house via Lafitzalm with a small museum back to the Lafitzalm stop with 😋 cake to the Fischerhütte for iced coffee with a view of the Schlegeiskees (glacier) which fortunately has a little more ice on it....a very nice family hike.Servus

But the timeline doesn't quite match. I have no idea what Komoot recorded there 🙄. Were more like 5 hours

After 22 years, we returned to the Pfitscher Joch. This time as a day trip from the Schlegeis reservoir. A beautiful trail through the Zamser Grund with beautiful views of the Lower and Upper Schrammach Waterfalls. Due to the weather, we skipped the planned return route via the high trail and the Olperer Hut (and the Instagram spot with the …

Wonderful HIKING TOUR .... from the SCHLEGEISSPEICHER Zillertal / Finkenberg (A)) to the Pfitscherjochhaus South Tyrol (I)
Difficult tour in places, sturdy hiking boots strongly recommended ...
After about 1.5 hours you will pass the Lavitzalm. Fairly new and very clean. Very friendly service. Continue to the A / I state border approx. 1 hour. In the Pfitscherjochhaus very friendly …

Many of you are probably familiar with this tour, but I recommend that everyone else do it as well. Fantastic panoramas alternate. The path is reshaped and gravelled from the Schlegeis reservoir. Only recommended to a limited extent for bikes, due to the passages to be pushed and carried.
The highlight at the Pfitscherjoch are the hut maccaroni 🍽️

By car, the toll to the Schlegeisspeicher is €18. There are three parking spaces there. The tour had an elevation gain of 533 meters.
