Ullal de l’Estany del Duc

Highlight • Lake

A short distance to the north of Gandia, in the direction of Xeraco, we find l'Alqueria del Duc and next to it a splendid natural area worth visiting, both on foot and by bicycle. Totally recommended for the whole family.
In addition to l'Ullal (spring) of l'Estany located on the very side of l'Alqueria, a few meters away we can also enjoy other springs (la Perla, Leocàdia and Fosc) and, a little further away, we can visit the Marjal dels Borrons which is more beautiful than all the other wetlands in the area.
Honestly, one of the most beautiful areas of La Safor.

L'Ullal de la Marjal de Gandia is a small but important wetland within the Marjal de Gandia Natural Park. It is a natural marsh lake surrounded by reeds, water channels, and wet meadows, providing a habitat for numerous bird and amphibian species. The flat paths around the Ullal are ideal for exploring by bike.

The route leads through a tranquil, unspoiled landscape, past bodies of water, reeds, and flowering riparian plants. The combination of tranquility, birdwatching, and the typical Marjal landscape makes the route a worthwhile excursion for nature lovers and cyclists alike.

Río Vaca

Highlight • River

The Río Vaca, which flows along the Camí Vell de Gandia, is a picturesque place that makes for a great tour. This route offers a mix of nature, agriculture and quiet paths, ideal for cyclists looking for a relaxed tour surrounded by the countryside. The route passes through a region known for its orange and lemon groves - the scent is particularly wonderful in spring when the trees are in bloom. The surrounding hills and mountains of the region provide a beautiful backdrop for the tour.

The Camí Vell de Gandia and the area along the Río Vaca are less busy, making the route a perfect choice for cyclists looking for a way to discover the beauty of the Oliva-Gandia region.

Sant Nicolau Ravine

Highlight • River

Here the smaller fishing and sports boats are moored in the Barranco de Sant Nicolau. The sea water reaches far into the urban area of Gandia. From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the boats and the houses on the water.
