Bridge Over the M-40 at Kilometer 32

Highlight • Bridge

This bridge over the M-40 ring road is a very good crossing point from Madrid (Campamento area) to Alcorcón, with access to Boadilla del Monte a little further on.
The bridge, closed to motor traffic, takes us to the area known as "Venta de la Rubia". From there we can reach the Ventorro del Cano industrial estate (Alcorcón), which connects with Prado del Espino (Boadilla) and the Santander Financial City.
It is a good alternative to the M-40 tunnel at km 36, as this bridge does not usually present problems with water in the event of torrential rain (the tunnel at km 36 can be dammed and become impractical).

View of Madrid from Los Militares

Highlight • Viewpoint

This area is known as "Los Militares" or "Los Cuarteles" since it is a military zone in which they continue to carry out maneuvers from time to time.
Due to its location, it is one of the crossing points for cyclists who come from the West zone (Boadilla, Campamento and even Alcorcón), since there is a tunnel that allows crossing under the M-40 without any danger.
From the corner of the La Dehesa Sports Center you can contemplate spectacular panoramic views of Madrid.

Polvoranca Park Entrance

Highlight • Rest Area

The Polvoranca Park is located in the municipality of Leganés in the southern part of the Community of Madrid, west of the M-406 route. It offers everything you can think of to spend a beautiful day, recreational areas, trails and bicycle paths, bird observatory and you cannot miss visiting the María Pascuala Lake. The Botánico de Polvoranca Park offers a peaceful and pleasant walk through its somewhat neglected but still charming botanical garden. Visitors can enjoy unique species and birdwatching opportunities while rolling along well-defined paths that are accessible for all. The park is recommended for guided tours available at the CEA of Polvoranca and provides a relaxing environment for families to explore nature.
