Day 4 on the Alpe Adria Cycle Route II for families with Eurobike.

Our destination today: Grado and the Adriatic Sea. I thought that the beach as our destination would give us the best motivation to make rapid progress. But it turned out that our legs were tired, the heat was oppressive, and the cycle path was too Grado-like.

Palmanova is pretty cool as a stage finish. A fairly symmetrical city with sometimes not enough hotel beds!
The path then leads to Aquileia, an absolute must-stop, the approach to Grado across the lagoon is the highlight of the trip.
