A beautiful afternoon hike with sweeping views as far as the Central Vosges and the Moselle hills. The meadows are full of early summer flowers, the sky is full of kites, and songbirds sing in the forest and hedgerows. Sheep and lambs peacefully graze the forts and bunkers of the Maginot Line as memorials.
