Mount Baker Beach

Highlight • Beach

Situated on the shores of Lake Washington, Mount Baker Beach is a popular recreational spot located within Mount Baker Park. It's an ideal spot to cool off after a run or continue along the wide pathway leading to Lake Washington Boulevard. The beach features a playground, tennis courts, diving boards, a fishing pier, drinking water and restrooms.

View of Mount Rainier

Highlight • Viewpoint

On clear days, when the mountain is out, this is a great view. Worth the winding, roundabout street climb (or even better, the descent). Colman Beach, along the lake at the bottom of the hill is a relaxing spot to take a break.

Best view of the East Side. Worth the hill climb to get here.

I-90 Trail Across Lake Washington

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Cycling alongside an interstate is probably not the most appealing trail, but a safe and efficient way to cross Washington lake on a bicycle. And the lake views are spectacular!

Best when there is some daylight. This can be enjoyed as a resting point along the trail with pull out.
