Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

Highlight • Monument

It is in this village that the source of the Sorgue springs from the rocks, which is the largest resurgence in Europe. The underground river emerges from the depths above a dizzying cliff 230 meters high.

The trail does not end at this monument but goes another 600 meters and eventually meets a department road from Saumane. That point is somewhat higher at 713 meters. The views from the monument are spectacular.

Wow.🤩 That was a really awesome tour. A lot of great trails through the forest 🌳. Lots of rocky trails🪨, which requires fitness and is technically challenging going downhill. So many beautiful sections. I'm totally excited. This is by far the most beautiful and best MTB tour I've ridden so far.
