La Salle-les-Alpes is located in the north of the Hautes-Alpes department, in the Guisane valley, between the Cerces massif and the Écrins massif. Its average altitude is 1,400 m.
Easy groad as start toward the col du lautaret.

Lautaret Pass

Highlight • Mountain Pass

The Col du Lautaret is the last climb before heading to the summit of the Col du Galibier. The Lautaret route can be quite busy; the best day to ride is Sunday, when heavy goods vehicles are banned.

Panorama / Galibier

Highlight • Other

As you ascend it's hard to take in the full scenery, but the views on the way down are absolutely breathtaking. Forget the Strava Kom (it's already taken by the pros anyway) and pause for a photo!

Highlight • Cycleway
